OET is the latest English language exam for medical professionals who wish to live and workNurse in English speaking countries such as The UK, and Australia.
Although it has been in Australia for several years, it was recently introduced into The UK, and as a result many students have decided to switch over from IELTS to OET due to the fact that this exam is more relevant to their profession.

Although it is medically based, it is still an English language assessment, primarily a medical English exam, and anyone who thinks it may be only a medical exam, need to be aware of this. It tests your English just as much as IELTS does, and the only real difference is the topic.
